Oklo Inc. is an advanced nuclear technology company developing fast-fission power plants, nuclear fuel recycling, and critical isotopes. The company calls its power plants "powerhouses" and identifies Aurora as its first product.[1]
Oklo's Groves Isotope Test Reactor is located on the Proto-Town project site in Caldwell County, Texas. The United States Department of Energy describes Groves-1 as a zero-power critical-assembly reactor with a maximum power level of 100 watts. The project is intended to demonstrate reactor design and construction capabilities and support development of domestic isotope production for medical, industrial, scientific, space, and national-security uses.[2][3]
