DuckWorks is Earthship's in-house prototyping and research-and-development laboratory at Proto-Town. It supports experimental projects and the design and fabrication of physical prototypes.

DuckWorks' capabilities include additive and subtractive manufacturing, rapid prototyping, electronics, woodworking, leatherworking, chemistry, and general-purpose fabrication.
